Soul and Wing is a romantic fantasy series set in a world of sky cities, underground civilisations, and a human empire caught between them — where magic runs through the heart, power is measured in wings, and two people from opposite sides of every possible divide find themselves bound together by something older than politics and more dangerous than war.
This wiki covers the world, characters, and lore of the series. It is written for readers who want to go deeper — into the history behind a scene, the culture behind a character, or the magic system behind a moment that surprised them.

Lana Delmoure grew up near the sea, with Mediterranean roots running through her like an inherited restlessness — which perhaps explains her love for horizons, that feeling of standing at the edge of something vast and unknown.
She spent her twenties and thirties in motion: Paris, Amsterdam, Italy, India, Thailand, and beyond. Much of her reading happened while traveling — on planes, on buses, between one place and the next — devouring fantasy and romance alongside real history, especially Ancient Greece and the Renaissance, the eras that still shape the bones of the worlds she builds. And through all of it, she wrote: fantasy worlds where devotion was honored, passion was power, and love never required the sacrifice of self.
Her writing is drawn to outsiders finding their footing in unfamiliar places — it blends lush world-building with sharp political intrigue and characters who feel deeply, messily real. Her stories are full of borders: between worlds, between people, between who you are and who you might become. Underneath the magic and the sweeping romance, they whisper something quieter — that you can love with your whole heart without ever leaving yourself behind.
Wingless in the Sky is her debut novel, and the first book in the Soul and Wing series. When she isn't writing, Lana can be found with a strong cup of tea, a battered fantasy paperback, and strong opinions about fictional love interests.
This wiki is written and maintained by the author and her team. It goes further than the books in some places — background that informed the writing but didn't fit on the page, history that shaped a character without being stated outright. Where an article contains material beyond what appears in the published books, it will say so.
Articles are updated as the series progresses. Content related to unpublished books is clearly marked.
Happy exploring.
